Role Overview

Data Science Manager is a full-time position located in Mumbai. The professional in this role reports directly to the Director of Data Science for Investment Analytics and focuses on paid media data applications to enhance client services.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse data to uncover hidden trends and deliver clear, applicable recommendations.
Explain and promote data science methodologies including geo-based incrementality, experiments, media mix models, and causal impact studies.
Develop and implement predictive models to improve media performance, customer experiences, and revenue generation.
Collaborate with platform partners to expand mathematical techniques for incrementality testing, media mix modelling, and data clean rooms.
Document analytics projects to ensure replication and scaling across the organisation.

Requirements

Programming proficiency in Python and SQL.
Three to five years of experience in a data role.
Proficiency in visualising data using Tableau, Looker, Matplotlib, or equivalents.
Knowledge of the marketing ecosystem and measurement framework across paid display, search, social, video, organic, web, and app.
Experience analysing media and web data from platforms such as Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google ADH, Campaign Manager, Meta, and Google Analytics.
Familiarity with media measurement solutions like media mix modelling, incrementality, and attribution models.
Ability to seek and implement solutions to improve and automate processes.
Understanding of machine learning concepts, with hands-on experience as a bonus.
Collaborative mindset and problem-solving skills.
