About this role
The Data Center Operations team builds, maintains, and operates the physical infrastructure that powers cloud operations for AI workloads. This position focuses on ensuring high availability and reliability through hardware and network diagnostics, physical repairs, root cause analysis, and equipment installation in a 24/7 environment. Candidates will also develop scripts for hardware updates, manage inventory, and provide technical support while participating in an on-call rotation.
The role exists to maintain the stability and security of critical hardware assets supporting rapid organizational growth. Ideal candidates bring hands-on computer hardware experience, Linux operating system familiarity, and strong organizational skills to handle physical diagnostics and repairs. Individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating physical temperatures and variable shift schedules will succeed here.
What you will do
- Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
- Conduct hardware and network diagnostics alongside physical repairs.
- Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
- Train internal teams and develop technical documentation.
- Assemble, install equipment, and maintain inventory.
- Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
What you need
- Computer hardware experience including troubleshooting and assembling.
- Linux operating system experience.
- Ability to regularly transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment including rotating on-call shifts.
- Ability to respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while on scheduled on-call.
Nice to have
- Computer networking experience
- Python, Bash, or other scripting languages experience
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field

Is this a remote role?
This is a salaried, 100% onsite role at one of our Data Center locations.
What is the compensation for this position?
The base salary range for this role is $65,000 to $83,000. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
What are the physical and scheduling requirements?
The position requires working a flexible schedule within a 24/7 environment, including participating in a rotating on-call shift with the ability to respond to on-site equipment failures within 60 minutes. Candidates must also be able to transport equipment up to 50 lbs and work in environments with fluctuating temperatures ranging from 60°F to 90°F.
