About this role

Managing the design, deployment, and integration of Wireless Intrusion Detection Systems (WIDS), this practitioner oversees RF spectrum monitoring and wireless threat detection across the data center estate. The engineer builds and maintains the Bastille Networks platform, architects telemetry integrations into the Genetec Security Center ecosystem, and conducts RF site surveys to localize unauthorized wireless devices. Operating within the Global Security Operations Center network, the person in this role collaborates with network, IT security, and SOC teams to correlate detections and ensure continuous airspace visibility.

CoreWeave maintains this position to secure its rapidly expanding global physical security infrastructure supporting cloud operations for AI workloads. A technical owner with deep expertise in RF spectrum monitoring, hardware configuration, and third-party API integrations thrives in this environment. Candidates who combine hands-on administration skills with the ability to produce thorough documentation and manage change processes will succeed here.

What you will do

  • Implement the integration of Bastille wireless detection telemetry into the Genetec Security Center ecosystem via API, SDK, or syslog.
  • Tune RF spectrum monitoring to detect rogue access points, rogue cell towers, Bluetooth and IoT threats, and other wireless risks.
  • Conduct RF site surveys and design sensor placement plans to ensure accurate device localization within each facility.
  • Develop documentation including sensor placement plans, coverage heat maps, integration architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting playbooks.
  • Perform technical root cause analysis for false positives, coverage gaps, and detection failures to improve detection fidelity.
  • Collaborate with network, IT security, and SOC teams to align detections with broader wireless security posture and threat intelligence.

What you need

  • Five plus years of experience in Physical Security Engineering, Network Engineering, wireless or RF security, or a related technical infrastructure role.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating Wireless Intrusion Detection or Prevention Systems and RF spectrum monitoring platforms.

  • Strong understanding of wireless protocols, RF fundamentals, and common wireless attack vectors.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, networking fundamentals, and SQL databases.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with the Bastille Networks platform and sensor arrays
  • GSEC, Security+, Network+, CCNA, CWNA/CWSP, CISSP, or manufacturer certifications
