The Data Center Hardware Technician position at Crusoe involves maintaining the operational integrity of mission-critical modular data centers in Springfield, Ohio. Key Responsibilities

Monitor data center operations and HVAC performance continuously to maintain ideal thermal conditions for hardware.
Execute routine preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems while overseeing third-party contractors for deep-service tasks.
Diagnose and repair fiber network infrastructure, server hardware, and critical system failures to minimize downtime.
Write and assist with technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and Method of Procedure documents.
Manage critical infrastructure vendors and participate in an on-call rotation to handle emergency issues and maintenance notifications.

Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in IT systems, network infrastructure, and data center electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of infrastructure equipment such as generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, ATS, PDUs, and fire suppression systems.
Ability to perform data trending, data analysis, and utilize PC-based integrated critical monitoring systems like EPMS and BMS.
Expert understanding of industrial safety regulations and practices, including OSHA compliance, Lockout/Tagout, and NFPA 70E Arc Flash protection.
Participation in a drug and alcohol program is required due to the safety-sensitive designation of the position and facility.

Nice to Have

Prior work history in mission-critical settings such as power plants, hospitals, or data centers.
Relevant certifications including CompTIA Network+, BICSI credentials, or specialized electrical and HVAC licenses.
Familiarity with industrial control systems and programmable logic controller programming.
