About this role

Databricks operates a customer enablement team dedicated to upscaling data and artificial intelligence practitioners so organizations can adopt platforms successfully and accelerate their business outcomes.

As a Customer Enablement Architect, the incoming specialist will design and lead talent-transformation programs across Australia and New Zealand. Responsibilities include collaborating with sales and field engineering teams, translating customer needs into practical learning roadmaps, and tracking commercial execution metrics such as training bookings, revenue, and adoption rates. Candidates need enough technical depth to understand curricula and certifications, though deep hands-on training delivery is not required.

What you will do

  • Design and lead customer enablement and talent-transformation programs across the ANZ region in partnership with sales, field engineering, and operations teams.
  • Translate customer outcomes into practical learning plans, capability roadmaps, and recommendations spanning free and paid training, credentials, and partner delivery.
  • Manage and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics across training bookings, revenue, learners, credentials, and adoption.
  • Serve as the regional voice of the customer for enablement, curriculum, and certification priorities while engaging internal and external leaders.
  • Identify capability gaps that affect platform adoption and collaborate with account teams on targeted interventions and contextual enablement.
  • Personally design, build, and deploy working prototypes, automation tools, or technical apps as part of a hands-on builder mindset.

What you need

  • Demonstrated experience of five or more years in customer enablement, talent transformation, training, customer success, consulting, or managing a book of business.
  • A non-negotiable track record of personally designing, building, and deploying working prototypes, automation tools, or technical apps.
  • Experience creating and leading enablement programs in partnership with sales and technical teams to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Background in big data, artificial intelligence, data science, cloud platforms, or enterprise technology with the ability to understand technical curricula.
  • Strong customer and executive engagement skills including discovery, stakeholder management, presentation, facilitation, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Commercial insight to connect technical skill outcomes to core profit and loss levers and influence renewals or expansions.
