About this role

The Legal and Government Affairs team at CoreWeave builds and maintains frameworks to navigate complex legal landscapes while supporting a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to scale AI. The Counsel, Credits and Incentives position protects the value of tax credits, abatements, and economic development incentives by overseeing compliance throughout the post-award lifecycle. Candidates who succeed in this environment typically possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to translating legal requirements into operational processes. Reporting to the Credits and Incentives team lead, the individual selected will handle multi-jurisdictional compliance obligations, maintain centralized tracking systems, and ensure audit readiness across the organization's growing portfolio of infrastructure investments.

What you will do

  • Ensure ongoing readiness for audits, agency inquiries, and internal reviews by monitoring performance against metrics such as job creation, wage thresholds, and investment levels.
  • Identify potential compliance risks proactively and escalate issues while supporting the development of internal policies, procedures, and playbooks.
  • Work cross-functionally with Tax, FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, Operations, and external advisors to ensure contractual and regulatory obligations are met accurately and on time.
