What you will do
- Lead the design of secure cloud and hybrid architectures that support advanced artificial intelligence workloads and enterprise systems.
- Develop technology roadmaps and standards to guide long-term cloud and artificial intelligence strategy.
- Ensure systems across cloud, on-premise, and multi-enclave environments integrate smoothly and securely.
- Establish best practices for automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps processes.
- Support governance for artificial intelligence models and data to ensure compliance and responsible use.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance performance and security.
- Guide modernization and cloud migration efforts across legacy environments while advising leadership on technical risks and strategic decisions.
What you need
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Possess 10 or more years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or related technical leadership roles.
- Demonstrate deep expertise with major cloud platforms and hybrid or on-premise environments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of secure architecture frameworks, including zero trust.
- Have experience supporting artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads alongside high-performance compute environments.
- Show proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps toolsets.
- Exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for leadership.
Nice to have
- Experience in classified or multi-enclave environments
- Cloud architecture certifications such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Background with artificial intelligence or machine learning platforms, data engineering, or high-performance computing systems
- Advanced degree in a related technical field
- Active Top Secret clearance or higher

What is the salary range for this role?
The base pay range for this position in eligible locations is $106,300 to $221,100 USD. Compensation varies depending on factors including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
What clearance level is required?
An active Top Secret clearance or higher is required for eligibility. Applicants must also have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
What technologies and tools will I work with?
