In this remote role, the engineer designs, implements, and fortifies Azure environments while serving as the technical authority for advanced workloads such as Azure AI Foundry and enterprise API management. Daily responsibilities involve architecting secure cloud solutions, deploying infrastructure as code, configuring robust security controls, and guiding customers through complex cloud transformations. Ideal candidates bring deep hands-on expertise across the broader Azure platform and thrive in customer-facing advisory and implementation capacities.
What you will do
- Design and implement secure Azure cloud solutions across commercial and government cloud environments.
- Develop and deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, and PowerShell.
- Secure generative AI workloads and machine learning solutions using Azure AI Foundry and related services.
- Design and operate secure, scalable API gateways and policies utilizing Azure API Management.
- Evaluate existing cloud infrastructure to provide recommendations and implement improvements that strengthen security posture.
- Collaborate with customer IT teams and stakeholders to integrate Azure solutions into new or existing systems.
What you need
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrate at least 5 years of experience building or managing cloud environments in medium to large companies.
- Possess strong working knowledge of Azure tenants, subscription management, landing zones, and networking.
- Bring deep hands-on expertise across the broader Azure platform including AI platform engineering and enterprise API management.
