Role Overview
This position involves managing complex strategic AI training data projects from start to finish. The person in this role oversees end-to-end delivery, handles client relationships, and monitors financial outcomes. Responsibilities include guiding project coordinators, partnering with the quality team to execute quality strategies, and driving process improvements and new service pilots for generative AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Execute delivery plans, milestones, resourcing, and controls for large or multi-workstream AI data projects involving collection, labeling, and evaluation.
Contribute to regular governance, status, and planning sessions while managing scope, priorities, and change.
Track budgets, rates, and margins while managing forecasts, burn, and change orders to protect profitability.
Share accountability with the Quality Analyst team for quality assurance approaches and continuous improvement loops.
Plan and secure rater and annotator capacity, aligning training, shifts, and handoffs across various time zones.
Run root-cause and corrective actions while escalating material risks with clear options and impact assessments.
Contribute to standard operating procedures, templates, and dashboards while piloting new delivery methods and services for AI data programs.
Ensure all data handling, privacy, and security policies are strictly followed across all workstreams.
Maintain current trackers and dashboards while translating delivery data into actionable insights for clients and leaders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, data or operations, engineering, or related fields.
At least one year of experience leading complex project delivery or operations within AI data, content review, annotation, labeling, or adjacent domains.
Experience coordinating multi-team delivery and managing client touchpoints.
Nice to Have
Near-native English proficiency with strong writing and editorial skills.
Hands-on experience working with generative AI tools across text, voice, or video.
Background in quality assurance testing, rubric design, or AI safety and ethics evaluation.
Familiarity with data-annotation platforms and model-evaluation tools.
Ability to interpret code, datasets, and system workflows at a conceptual level without requiring coding.
Capability to work independently and manage workflows effectively in a distributed environment.
Multilingual ability beyond English.
