Key Responsibilities

Build parts and assemblies using basic hand tools and personal protective equipment within specific time limits and strict quality standards.
Complete Quality Check Sheets and photograph completed projects to maintain a thorough quality history before packaging.
Package, palletize, and band items securely for shipping so they reach customers in pristine condition.
Update the Team Status Board with current work order progress and communicate any safety, quality, or process concerns to the appropriate team members.
Transport materials around the shop floor using a pallet jack, gantry crane, or forklift.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or a GED.
Bring zero to two or more years of experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative, positive team-player attitude.
Meet physical demands including standing, walking, stooping, and bending for eight hours or more daily while lifting up to 50 pounds.
Comply with all safety protocols, successfully pass a background check, and participate in a drug and alcohol testing program.

Nice to Have

Ability to review and modify engineering drawings when necessary.
Prior experience operating a forklift.
Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, impact drivers, torque wrenches, angle grinders, saws, and nail guns.
Background in electro-mechanical systems or ISO 9001:2015 standards.
