Key Responsibilities

Write critical code as an individual contributor to de-risk complex projects through hands-on development, code reviews, and optimization.
Lead project teams of Applied AI Engineers by mentoring them and establishing best practices for generative AI deployments.
Act as the main technical contact during pre-sales discussions, translating customer requirements into structured solutions.
Design and oversee advanced AI implementations, including fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, and custom large language model applications.
Monitor emerging artificial intelligence trends, assess new methodologies, and champion deployment standards.
Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, and engineers to integrate customer feedback into the development cycle.

Requirements

Fluent in English.
Hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Possess 8+ years of professional experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a minimum of 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity such as Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or Solutions Architect.
Demonstrated history of steering teams to deliver complex AI initiatives from early prototypes to full production environments across sectors like finance, healthcare, tech, or industrial automation.
Deep technical knowledge in fine-tuning large language models, advanced RAG architectures, agentic systems, and large-scale natural language processing.
Strong software engineering foundation encompassing backend development, API design, and system architecture.
Exceptional technical communication skills tailored for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Prior contributions to open-source initiatives, specifically within the large language model or artificial intelligence domain.
Background in client-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Product Manager, or Customer Engineer focusing on enterprise adoption.
A history of shaping technical strategy and steering product direction based on evolving market demands.
