Role Overview

bjakcareer seeks an Applied AI Engineer to develop AI-native systems for its financial platform. The position involves building automated workflows and intelligent agents that streamline internal operations and customer-facing services.

Key Responsibilities

Construct AI-driven workflows, assistants, agents, and automation platforms.
Implement artificial intelligence across customer support, CRM, user onboarding, claims, renewals, payments, and operational tools.
Collaborate with product and engineering groups to transform manual tasks into scalable AI architectures.
Create integrations connecting large language models with internal databases, APIs, documents, and business systems.
Establish evaluation, monitoring, and fallback procedures to guarantee safe and reliable outputs.
Rapidly prototype solutions, conduct testing with end-users or operators, and deploy functional applications.
Optimize speed, quality, and consistency throughout workflows.

Requirements

Solid software engineering background, with a preference for Python and backend development.
Practical background working with LLM APIs, autonomous agents, RAG, workflow automation, or related tools.
Ability to bridge artificial intelligence systems with actual product, data, and operational processes.
Strong decision-making skills regarding where AI adds value versus rule-based logic or human oversight.
Familiarity with metrics covering evaluation, accuracy, latency, expenses, data privacy, and failure conditions.
Capability to rapidly prototype, test, and deliver functional systems.
Strong English communication skills.
Current residency in Hong Kong.

Nice to Have
