Role Overview

Bjakcareer is looking for an applied artificial intelligence engineer to develop native artificial intelligence systems for their financial agent products in the United States. This position focuses on building practical solutions that automate real operational workflows, minimize manual effort, and enhance user experience rather than conducting theoretical research.

Key Responsibilities

Construct artificial intelligence-powered automation systems, assistants, workflows, and agents.
Implement technology across onboarding, customer support, customer relationship management, claims, payments, renewals, internal tools, and operations.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to convert manual processes into scalable systems.
Integrate large language models with business systems, internal data, documents, application programming interfaces, and knowledge bases.
Establish monitoring, evaluation, and fallback mechanisms to ensure safe, reliable, and useful outputs.
Rapidly prototype, test alongside operators or users, and productionize successful designs.
Enhance consistency, quality, and speed across operational workflows.

Requirements

Solid software engineering background featuring backend systems and Python.
Practical building experience utilizing workflow automation, retrieval-augmented generation, large language model application programming interfaces, agents, or related tooling.
Ability to connect artificial intelligence mechanisms with real operational, product, and data workflows.
Sound judgment regarding the appropriate application of artificial intelligence versus rule-based systems or human review.
Understanding of failure modes, cost, accuracy, latency, privacy, and evaluation.
Rapid prototyping capability to test and deploy practical systems.
Strong English communication skills.
Current residency in the United States.

Nice to Have

Experience working within fintech, insurance, support automation, operations automation, or customer relationship management.
