BJAK seeks an Applied AI Engineer to construct artificial intelligence native systems for the company's financial application. The professional in this position will focus on automating actual workflows, minimizing manual tasks, and improving product functionality for users and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Construct intelligent agents, workflows, internal utilities, and automations to address operational and product challenges.
Implement large language models, retrieval mechanisms, tool execution, evaluations, and security guardrails within financial processes.
Develop intelligent features for customer onboarding, support, verification, risk assessment, customer relationship management, and document processing.
Collaborate with engineering and product departments to determine viable projects and deploy them directly into production.
Address system limitations including response accuracy, latency reduction, cost management, data security, and regulatory compliance.
Convert manual operational procedures into dependable, automated systems designed for scale.

Requirements

Practical engineering capability focused on building rather than strategic planning or management.
Demonstrated history of developing intelligent agents, language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation setups, and automated copilots.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Capacity to deploy functional production systems, evaluate performance, and enhance reliability continuously.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Current residency in Spain.

Nice to Have
