Role Overview

The position centers on developing artificial intelligence native systems to automate practical workflows, enhance existing products, lower manual tasks, and simplify financial services for users and internal teams. The focus rests on shipping functional technology into production environments while managing constraints such as accuracy, latency, expense, safety, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Construct artificial intelligence agents, automated workflows, tools, and utilities addressing practical customer, product, and operational challenges.
Implement large language models, retrieval methods, tool invocation, evaluations, guardrails, and automation within financial workflows.
Develop artificial intelligence supported interactions for user onboarding, support, know-your-customer checks, risk evaluation, customer relationship management, operations, document processing, and product intelligence.
Collaborate with product and engineering departments to determine viable projects, construct them rapidly, and refine them in production.
Design systems addressing real-world limitations including accuracy, hallucination risks, response time, financial expenditure, security, regulatory compliance, and consumer trust.
Convert manual operations into dependable, scalable artificial intelligence driven frameworks.

Requirements

Practical engineering capability focused on implementation rather than strategy or management.
Background in creating artificial intelligence agents, large language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation systems, automation pipelines, copilots, or artificial intelligence enabled utilities.
Proficient coding capabilities in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable practical programming stacks.
Sound decision-making regarding which processes warrant automation.
Capacity to deliver functioning systems, evaluate quality, and enhance reliability over extended periods.
Strong English communication skills.
Residency in the United States.

Nice to Have

Experience within fintech, banking, support automation, risk management, know-your-customer compliance, fraud detection, customer relationship management, or operational automation.
