Role Overview

bjakcareer seeks an Applied AI Engineer to join the team and construct production-ready artificial intelligence solutions. This position focuses on implementation rather than pure research, requiring professionals who can integrate artificial intelligence into daily operational workflows, product features, and user journeys within the financial technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Construct autonomous agents, workflows, internal tools, and automations to address customer, product, and operational challenges.
Implement large language models, retrieval mechanisms, tool calling, evaluations, guardrails, and automated pipelines for practical financial tasks.
Develop artificial intelligence-supported experiences for user onboarding, customer support, KYC processes, risk reviews, CRM, document handling, and product intelligence.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to determine project viability, construct solutions rapidly, and maintain performance in production environments.
Design architectures accounting for accuracy, hallucination risks, operational latency, financial costs, security compliance, and user trust.
Transition manual operations into reliable, scalable, automated systems.

Requirements

Possess hands-on software engineering capability focused on implementation rather than strategy or management.
Demonstrate practical experience building autonomous agents, large language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation systems, automation workflows, copilots, or artificial intelligence tools.
Show strong programming proficiency in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable practical technology stacks.
Exhibit sound judgment regarding automation priorities.
Deliver functioning systems while testing quality and enhancing reliability continuously.
Maintain residency in Poland.
Demonstrate strong English communication skills for a global working environment.

Nice to Have

Background in fintech, banking, support automation, risk management, KYC processes, fraud detection, CRM platforms, or operations automation.
