Role Overview

The Applied AI Engineer creates artificial intelligence systems for the Bjakcareer financial application. This position focuses on turning manual operations into scalable automated solutions rather than conducting theoretical research.

Key Responsibilities

Construct artificial intelligence agents, workflows, tools, and automations to address customer, product, and operational challenges.
Implement large language models, retrieval methods, tool calling, evaluations, and safety guardrails into practical financial workflows.
Design artificial intelligence-assisted features for customer onboarding, support, KYC, risk reviews, CRM, operations, and document processing.
Collaborate with product and engineering units to discover and deploy valuable features rapidly into production environments.
Account for operational constraints including system accuracy, hallucination risks, latency, cost efficiency, security, and compliance.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands-on software engineering capabilities focused on building functional products.
Practical background in creating artificial intelligence agents, large language model applications, retrieval-augmented generation systems, and automation tools.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
Ability to deliver operational systems, evaluate output quality, and enhance reliability continuously.
Strong English communication skills for collaborating across global teams.
Mandatory residency in Indonesia.

Nice to Have

Background in fintech, banking, support automation, risk management, KYC, fraud detection, CRM, or operations automation.
