Role Overview

BJAK is hiring Android Software Engineers to develop the native Android experience for the company's AI Finance Agent. The position involves designing clean user flows, delivering fast performance, and releasing reliable mobile features for real customers in a hybrid setup located in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Construct and release Android features utilizing Kotlin.
Develop clean mobile workflows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complicated user journeys.
Connect backend APIs while maintaining stable, secure, and dependable mobile workflows.
Enhance application performance by addressing crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, and memory consumption.
Utilize analytics, user behavior metrics, and production feedback to refine the product.
Implement AI-assisted mobile interactions specifically when they enhance the customer journey.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
Solid foundation in Android development and a track record of publishing production applications.
Familiarity with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture.
Deep understanding of mobile user experience, usability standards, edge cases, and user flows.
Practical background in integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production errors.
Strong ownership, quick execution, and strict attention to product quality.
