Role Overview

BJAK is hiring Android Software Engineers to develop the native Android experience for the company's AI Finance Agent in Indonesia. The position involves designing clean user flows, ensuring fast application performance, and delivering reliable mobile features for regional users. Candidates must reside in Indonesia and possess strong English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Build and ship Android features using Kotlin.
Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
Integrate backend APIs while ensuring mobile flows remain stable, secure, and reliable.
Enhance application performance by addressing crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage.
Utilize analytics, user behavior data, and production issues to refine the product.
Build AI-assisted mobile experiences when they genuinely enhance the user journey.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Android development experience utilizing Kotlin.
Strong Android fundamentals with demonstrated experience shipping production applications.
Solid knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.
Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
Ability to execute quickly with high ownership and strong attention to product quality.
Strong English communication skills.
Must be based in Indonesia.
