Role Overview

BJAK is hiring an Android Software Engineer to create the native Android application for its AI Finance Agent. The position requires an individual focused on clean user navigation, fast execution, high software quality, and stable mobile features.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and launch mobile features utilizing Kotlin.
Design streamlined mobile journeys covering insurance, transactions, claims, renewals, and related monetary services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify intricate user pathways.
Connect backend application programming interfaces while maintaining stable, secure, and dependable mobile operations.
Enhance application speed, reduce crash frequencies, optimize loading states, increase responsiveness, and manage memory efficiently.
Utilize usage analytics and production data to refine the application.
Implement AI-assisted mobile interactions that genuinely enhance user workflows.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional Android development practice using Kotlin.
Solid foundation in Android development and a track record of launching production-level applications.
Familiarity with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architectural patterns.
Understanding of mobile user experience principles, edge cases, and navigation flows.
Practical background in connecting REST application programming interfaces and troubleshooting production errors.
Proficiency in English communication.
