Role Overview

The Android Software Engineer position involves creating native mobile features for financial products using Kotlin. The selected professional will collaborate closely with product and design teams to refine user journeys and integrate backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch native Android features utilizing Kotlin.
Design user paths for financial services, claims, renewals, insurance, and payments.
Collaborate alongside product and design colleagues to simplify intricate user workflows.
Connect backend application programming interfaces while keeping mobile transactions secure, stable, and dependable.
Enhance application responsiveness, memory consumption, loading states, crash frequencies, and general performance.
Analyze production data, user behavior reports, and error logs to enhance application quality.
Implement artificial intelligence features into mobile interactions when they add genuine value to the user experience.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional Android development experience working with Kotlin.
Solid understanding of core Android concepts along with a track record of publishing production software.
Familiarity with modern Android design patterns, Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
Deep understanding of user experience principles, mobile usability, and edge cases.
Background in connecting REST application programming interfaces and troubleshooting live production bugs.
Strong English communication skills for a global team environment.
Permanent residency in Poland.
