Role Overview

Bjakcareer is hiring an Android Software Engineer to develop the native mobile experience for its AI Finance Agent. Located in Taipei, Taiwan, the position requires the candidate to reside in the region and communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and launch Android features utilizing Kotlin.
Design streamlined mobile workflows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complicated user journeys.
Connect backend application programming interfaces to maintain stable, secure, and dependable mobile pathways.
Optimize application performance, reduce crash frequencies, enhance loading states, and manage responsiveness and memory consumption.
Utilize analytics, user behavior metrics, and production feedback to refine the product.
Implement artificial intelligence-assisted mobile features where they measurably enhance user navigation.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
Solid foundation in Android development with a history of publishing production applications.
Familiarity with Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and contemporary Android architecture.
Understanding of mobile user experience, usability standards, edge cases, and user pathways.
Background in connecting REST application programming interfaces and troubleshooting production errors.
Demonstrated speed of execution, personal ownership, and commitment to product standards.
Residency in Taiwan.
Proficiency in English communication.
