Role Overview

BJAK is hiring an Android Software Engineer to develop the native Android experience for its AI Finance Agent. The position focuses on delivering clean user flows, performance optimization, and reliable mobile features for customers in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch native Android features using Kotlin.
Develop clear mobile flows covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services.
Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys.
Connect backend APIs and maintain stable, secure, and reliable mobile flows.
Enhance application performance by addressing crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, and memory consumption.
Utilize analytics, user behavior data, and production feedback to refine the product.
Implement AI-assisted mobile experiences that genuinely enhance the user journey.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Android development experience utilizing Kotlin.
Solid Android fundamentals with practical experience publishing production applications.
Understanding of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
Awareness of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.
Background in integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues.
Proficiency in English communication.
Must be based in Sweden.
