Role Overview

BJAK seeks an Android Software Engineer to develop the native Android experience for its AI Finance Agent. The individual in this position will focus on application performance, clean user flows, and delivering dependable mobile features for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy Android features utilizing Kotlin.
Design streamlined mobile paths for insurance, claims, payments, renewals, and financial services.
Collaborate with design and product teams to simplify intricate user journeys.
Connect backend APIs while maintaining stable, secure, and reliable mobile workflows.
Enhance application performance, reduce crash rates, optimize memory usage, and improve responsiveness and loading states.
Utilize analytics, production diagnostics, and user behavior data to refine the product.
Implement AI-assisted mobile functionality where it genuinely enhances the user experience.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
Solid foundation in Android alongside experience launching production applications.
Familiarity with modern Android architecture, Jetpack, Flow, and Coroutines.
Deep understanding of mobile user experience, edge cases, usability, and user flows.
Background in debugging production challenges and integrating REST APIs.
High ownership, rapid execution, and rigorous attention to product quality.
Proficiency in English for communication across global teams.
Current residency in Korea.
