Role Overview

bjakcareer seeks an Android Software Engineer to help construct the native mobile application for its AI Finance Agent. Located in Singapore as a remote role, the position centres on building reliable features and simplifying financial applications for regional users.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch Android features utilising Kotlin.
Design clean mobile pathways covering insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and other financial services.
Collaborate with design and product teams to simplify intricate user journeys.
Connect backend APIs to maintain stable, secure, and dependable mobile workflows.
Enhance application performance by addressing crash rates, loading states, responsiveness, and memory consumption.
Utilise analytics, user behaviour data, and production feedback to refine the product.
Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences when they add genuine value to the user journey.

Requirements

Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
Demonstrate strong Android fundamentals alongside experience releasing production applications.
Possess knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture.
Exhibit a strong understanding of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flows.
Show experience in integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production problems.
Maintain high ownership, rapid execution, and attention to product quality.
Communicate effectively in English, the primary working language.
Reside in Singapore.
