Role Overview

This position places the individual in charge of the Android client experience and how artificial intelligence functions on mobile devices. The professional builds a production application centered around proactive applications rather than basic tools, focusing on long-running workflows, persistent context, and real-world task completion.

Key Responsibilities

Construct and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
Connect AI-powered capabilities such as chat, vision, voice, and recommendations through backend application programming interfaces.
Shape user experience patterns for artificial intelligence interactions, encompassing streaming responses, retries, and partial results.
Tune performance, memory consumption, and responsiveness specifically for artificial intelligence-heavy workflows.
Establish analytics, logging, and feedback capture mechanisms to aid AI evaluation and iteration.
Coordinate directly with backend and machine learning engineers regarding application programming interface contracts and overall system behavior.
Guarantee stability, security, and scalability of applications within production environments.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of Android development background utilizing Kotlin.
Practical integration background connecting artificial intelligence features like large language models, vision, and speech application programming interfaces.
Comprehensive comprehension of asynchronous programming principles including Coroutines and Flow.
Acquaintance with REST or gRPC application programming interfaces alongside structured data formats.
Advanced debugging and performance profiling capabilities.
Adaptability within operational settings involving latency, partial failures, and non-deterministic behavior.
Background with MLKit or light on-device inference.
Successfully published production applications on the Google Play Store.

Nice to Have

Background utilizing TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference.
Experience with SQL and noSQL databases.
