Role Overview

The Android Developer will build and maintain the native Android experience for the company's financial platform. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing mobile features for real customers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver native Android features covering accounts, onboarding, payments, cards, transfers, rewards, and AI-driven user journeys.
Simplify complex financial processes into fast and dependable mobile interfaces.
Collaborate directly with design, product, backend, and artificial intelligence engineers from concept to production.
Maintain high application standards by monitoring stability, performance, loading states, crash rates, and edge cases.
Utilize customer behavior data, production analytics, and feedback to refine features post-launch.
Handle API integrations, secure data processing, authentication, and financial workflows with a focus on reliability.

Requirements

Demonstrated native Android development experience utilizing Kotlin.
Prior experience launching Android applications utilized by real users.
Knowledge of modern Android development, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and application architecture.
Product intuition with a strong focus on user experience beyond basic screen implementation.
Capability to troubleshoot production issues to enhance app quality, performance, and reliability.
Ability to operate effectively within ambiguity and maintain high execution speed.
Residency in the Netherlands.
Proficiency in English communication.
