Role Overview

BJAK seeks an Android Developer to build the native Android experience for the company's AI Finance Agent in Portugal. The position focuses on crafting clean user flows, maintaining fast performance, ensuring product quality, and delivering reliable mobile features.

Key Responsibilities

Construct native Android features covering onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
Transform complex financial workflows into straightforward, rapid, and dependable mobile interactions.
Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to transition features from concepts into production.
Maintain app quality concerning performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability.
Analyze production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to enhance products post-launch.
Integrate APIs, authentication protocols, secure data handling, and financial workflows with a focus on dependability.

Requirements

Strong native Android development experience utilizing Kotlin.
Demonstrated history of shipping Android applications utilized by actual users.
Solid comprehension of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android development practices.
Strong product sense with an emphasis on user experience beyond basic screens and tickets.
Capability to debug production issues while enhancing performance, reliability, and application quality.
Comfort operating amidst ambiguity and moving rapidly without compromising standards.
Based in Portugal.
Strong English communication skills.
