AI Technical Product Manager (Strategy & Delivery)
About this role
Professionals who thrive on turning ambiguous mission goals into operational AI products will find a natural home in this role at Accenture Federal Services. The team focuses on building secure, reliable, and auditable artificial intelligence solutions that millions of people across the US federal government rely on for defense, public safety, and civilian services.
This practitioner will lead cross-functional teams spanning data science, engineering, security, and policy to ship products in weeks rather than quarters. Responsibilities include defining product strategy, setting metrics for performance and cost, and embedding responsible AI frameworks by design. Rather than training foundation models, the work centers on operationalizing existing platforms into safe, user-loved experiences that meet strict federal standards and real-world constraints.
Candidates who succeed here possess a blend of strategic foresight and technical fluency, capable of guiding engineering choices while managing stakeholder relationships. Joining this community offers opportunities for continuous learning through certifications and hands-on delivery while addressing some of the most consequential product challenges in the public sector.
What you will do
- Translate complex federal mission goals into clear product KPIs and outcome-based roadmaps.
- Convert ambiguous stakeholder requirements into prioritized user stories, running MVPs and iterative releases in regulated environments.
- Operationalize policy-as-code, prompt lifecycles, and guardrails aligned to federal standards.
- Collaborate with architects to select appropriate patterns such as LLM, RAG, agents, and Zero Trust integrations.
- Establish evaluation harnesses and define service level objectives for quality, latency, and cost.
- Align business owners, legal teams, and compliance officers while driving incident and postmortem rigor.
- Author playbooks and product operating models that scale across multiple mission teams.
What you need
- Delivered AI and data-powered products at enterprise scale with measurable business results.

- Proven ability to partner effectively with engineering, data, security, compliance, and policy teams.
- Comfortable reasoning through LLM orchestration, RAG, agent workflows, and data architecture to review designs.
- U.S. citizenship without dual citizenship is strictly required.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated environments with audit-ready controls and Zero Trust architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data services like Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and Palantir.
- Exposure to LLM evaluation frameworks, prompt lifecycle management, and policy-based filtering.
- Contributions to open-source projects or product playbooks alongside executive-level storytelling.
