About this role
This role addresses the need to build and scale an AI-powered platform that automates and enhances financial operations for organizations using Oracle NetSuite. Zone & Co is developing an ERP-native AI platform that spans the entire financial lifecycle, including Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report. The goal is to move finance teams from reactive tasks to proactive, strategic decision-making by embedding intelligence directly into the ERP system, serving over 4,500 global customers.
The AI Software Engineer will be integral in designing, developing, and deploying these AI solutions. This involves building robust, production-ready AI/ML pipelines for key product features and integrating complex AI/ML models into existing backend and frontend applications. The work focuses on transforming raw data into actionable financial intelligence that drives measurable business value.

What you will do
- Design, prototype, and implement AI systems tailored for specific real-world business applications.
- Build and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines necessary for core product features.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver integrated AI solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using specified programming languages.
- Integrate developed AI/ML models into both backend and frontend applications.
- Analyze large datasets to derive insights that support data-driven business decisions.
- Monitor and optimize deployed models to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead experimentation and prototyping efforts to test new algorithms and ideas.
What you need
- Possesses at least two years of software engineering experience specifically focused on AI/ML applications.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Must have hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), agents, and frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy.
- Proficiency in Python is required, with familiarity in JavaScript or similar languages being beneficial.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of both relational (SQL) and non-relational databases.
- Must have experience deploying AI systems within production environments.
- Should possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Requires strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
