Key Responsibilities

Research and build novel methods to enhance large language model capabilities.
Design and implement infrastructure and tools for evaluating, training, and analyzing AI models at scale.
Work alongside cross-functional product teams, engineers, and scientists to launch impactful AI systems.
Innovate across agent-based systems, reasoning, and code generation use cases.
Expand model functionalities by working with multimodal data like speech, images, and text.
Optimize distributed systems to boost scalability and efficiency during model training.
Release frontier models publicly to contribute back to the open-source community.

Requirements

Demonstrated history of contributing to scientific domains through open-source contributions or research publications.
Practical background using AI frameworks like PyTorch or distributed systems such as Kubernetes.
Programming fluency in at least one language including Python, Java, Rust, or Go.
Capability to architect complex software systems and move them successfully into production environments.
Direct background in training large transformer models within distributed architectures.
Knowledge of the complete MLOps stack, covering deployment, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
Independent mindset capable of driving projects autonomously while remaining a team player.
