Role Overview

Capco is hiring an AI Product Owner for full-time employment in India, with locations in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The position requires guiding the vision, strategy, and delivery of AI-powered customer solutions while working independently to manage senior stakeholders and translate business needs into product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and oversee the AI product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
Partner with business stakeholders, engineering staff, data scientists, and UX professionals to launch AI-enabled offerings.
Discover high-value AI use cases and convert them into prioritized product requirements.
Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements for development groups.
Execute product discovery, testing, and validation utilizing data-driven methods.
Oversee sprint planning, backlog grooming, prioritization, and release coordination.
Track product performance via key performance indicators, user outcomes, and business value realization.
Handle stakeholder expectations and report progress across business and technology divisions.
Verify that delivery matches strategic goals and customer experience targets.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management or product ownership.
Background in shipping AI, Generative AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation products.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
Ability to draft granular user stories and handle product backlogs.
Capacity to function autonomously with minimal oversight.
Proficiency in stakeholder management and communication.
History of partnering with cross-functional engineering and data units.
Analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.

Nice to Have

Background in banking, financial services, or retail banking sectors.
Familiarity with Generative AI, large language models, conversational AI, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, or AI agents.
Experience utilizing Azure OpenAI, AWS AI, Google Vertex AI, or similar AI platforms.
Credentials in product management, Agile, Scrum, or AI-focused fields.
