Role Overview

Manage projects through complete delivery cycles by scoping problems, implementing solutions, debugging regressions, and shipping reliable results.

Requirements

Current enrollment as a student at the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge.

Attainment of a silver medal or higher at the International Mathematical Olympiad or International Olympiad in Informatics, or an equivalent level of achievement in another highly competitive endeavor.

Strong programming capability alongside a practical project built outside of coursework or tutorials, such as a functional model, agent, tool, or application.

Hands-on background utilizing artificial intelligence tooling, including language model APIs, agent frameworks, model fine-tuning, or automated workflows.

Habit of investigating system failures and testing whether fixes address root causes, paired with clear thinking and communication regarding technical decisions.
