Capco builds modern data platforms and software solutions for leading international banks and insurance companies across Western Europe. This AI Architect role focuses on shaping target-state architectures that connect priority sources to a governed Azure foundation, enabling reusable data products for APIs, Power BI, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The person in this position will design architectures for agentic AI, oversee MLOps lifecycles, and bridge the gap between business, IT, Risk Management, and engineering.
Created to support client data-platform delivery in regulated financial services, the role exists to translate complex AI use cases into scalable, secure, and governed technical blueprints. Candidates who thrive here typically combine strong practical knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, and Microsoft Copilot with the communication skills needed to align senior stakeholders and risk management teams.
What you will do
- Translate ambiguous business needs and functional requirements into target architectures, roadmaps, and scalable implementation strategies.
- Design target architectures and reusable patterns for agentic AI, covering memory, tools, data access, and integration with governed data platforms.
- Design and oversee AI and MLOps lifecycle capabilities, including monitoring, tracing, evaluation, and operational readiness.
- Define API-first and MCP-based integration patterns to secure access to data and services through project gateways.
- Evolve AI governance, risk, security, and guardrail requirements in collaboration with Risk Management and Compliance teams.
- Support the enablement of Microsoft Copilot Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder, and Copilot Studio according to established governance frameworks.
What you need
- Several years of experience in the architecture and delivery of artificial intelligence solutions within the financial services sector.
- Strong practical understanding of Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, and how governed data platforms support AI and analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot capabilities such as Cowork, Agent Mode, Agent Builder, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with agentic AI architecture patterns, AI and MLOps lifecycle requirements, and production transition processes.
- Experience with MCP and API-first development practices alongside secure integration design for enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of AI governance, risk, guardrails, access control, and data-protection considerations for high-impact use cases.
- Professional fluency in English with effective communication skills for interacting with senior stakeholders.

The minimum gross monthly base salary starts at €3,300, with the final offer depending on experience, skills, and overall fit. The position may also be eligible for a discretionary or variable bonus payment.
