What you will do
- Define and drive technical execution strategies for complex use cases across strategic accounts.
- Lead architectural discussions and guide technical decision-making with customer stakeholders.
- Design secure, governed, and scalable Databricks architectures balancing performance, cost, and reliability.
- Build and demonstrate practical solutions, prototypes, and reusable technical assets to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Establish best practices for security, governance, and operational excellence as platform maturity scales.
- Collaborate across Databricks and customer teams to align resources, manage risks, and speed up delivery.
- Mentor peers and contribute reusable technical guidance and enablement frameworks across the organization.
What you need
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, professional services, data engineering, or related technical roles.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and architecture across complex customer use cases.
- High coding proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages to build, debug, and validate technical solutions.
- Deep understanding of distributed data systems, data engineering, analytics, data warehousing, AI/ML, and modern cloud architectures.
- Proven experience designing secure, governed, scalable, and production-ready data solutions.
- Ability to solve ambiguous technical problems, evaluate trade-offs, and validate solutions through structured analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Full professional proficiency in Japanese is required.
