Pliant

Pliant is a modular B2B payments platform that combines commercial card issuing, payment accounts, foreign exchange, and spend management into a single system. Businesses across industries such as travel, e-commerce, and insurance use the platform to manage complex payment workflows with credit lines underwritten directly by the company. Additionally, fintechs, software platforms, and banks embed Pliant's payment infrastructure into their own products, utilizing solutions ranging from API-based Cards-as-a-Service to fully white-label interfaces.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Berlin, Pliant serves over 5,000 businesses and more than 40 partners across Europe and the United States, issuing commercial cards in 13 currencies across 32 countries. The company operates under its own European e-money license and relies on licensed partners in the UK and US.

The open roles at Pliant reflect the building of cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and compliance. Current job openings include a Data Protection & AI Governance Manager available as hybrid in Berlin or Munich, a Senior Product Designer focused on design systems with remote options in Germany, and an Engineering Manager for Developer Experience available on a remote basis across the EU and UK. These roles span mid-level to senior seniority levels, incorporating flexible hybrid and remote working arrangements.
