DuckDuckGo builds an internet privacy platform and browser designed for data protection rather than data collection. The company serves millions of users across Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android by providing a free browser, search engine, and privacy tools that block trackers, cookies, and invasive ads. Its offerings include Duck.ai, a private way for users to access popular AI chatbots, and other optional AI features integrated into its search and browsing ecosystem. DuckDuckGo operates as a remote-first team consisting of over 300 members.

The open roles indicate that DuckDuckGo is building specialized data science and technical teams focused on statistical modeling, experiment design, and classifier implementation. The current open positions target senior-level professionals, such as a Senior Data Scientist, who can drive product and business impact across search, instant answers, AI, and revenue optimization. These roles operate remotely and emphasize end-to-end ownership of projects, ranging from scoping and execution to measurement and monitoring in an evidence-first culture.
