Role Overview

Poka EN is hiring a remote Web SEO & AEO Strategist in Canada to manage organic search visibility and website conversion performance. This professional will shape how the company connects with industrial buyers across traditional search engines and emerging AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Build and execute an integrated SEO and Answer Engine Optimization strategy to capture organic traffic and AI-generated citations.
Conduct thorough keyword, topic, and intent research focused on conversational and question-based queries used by buyers.
Structure website content with clear formatting, definitions, and Schema.org markup to support rich results and AI visibility.
Monitor brand mentions and share of voice across tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
Perform technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile user experience.
Lead the complete Conversion Rate Optimization program by identifying friction points, creating hypotheses, and running A/B tests.
Analyze visitor behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics tools to design targeted improvements.
Define key performance indicators, build dashboards, and report on organic traffic, conversion rates, and pipeline impact.

Requirements

Bring seven or more years of professional experience in SEO, web strategy, or growth marketing with proven organic and conversion results.
Possess deep knowledge of on-page, off-page, technical SEO, and Answer Engine Optimization alongside a strong understanding of large language models.
Demonstrate hands-on experience running structured CRO programs from test design to implementation.
Maintain familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript SEO, structured data like JSON-LD, and modern content management systems.
Show strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex metrics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Communicate fluently in English for team collaboration and international client interactions.
