Technical Project Manager - Project Success
About this role
Managing day-to-day technical alignment involves joining client meetings, translating design-level conversations, and documenting architectural decisions for complex AI infrastructure implementations. The Project Success team at OpenTeams works directly with enterprise clients to build, secure, and operate AI platforms, retrieval applications, and open-source systems that organizations can fully own. This technical project manager role exists to bridge the gap between engineering teams and client stakeholders, ensuring that deliverables remain closely tied to business objectives without relying on external task delegation.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical fluency and customer-facing experience, capable of reading code, tracking data sovereignty constraints, and managing intricate project dependencies. Professionals who thrive in this environment enjoy diving into deep technical discussions, navigating enterprise security reviews, and partnering with engineers who have roots across major open-source ecosystems like PyTorch and NumPy.
What you will do

- Participate in technical discussions to capture requirements, decisions, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs across infrastructure, data, security, and AI/ML.
- Help clients clarify data ownership, access methods, and the business processes supported by AI.
- Track constraints involving data sovereignty, on-premises infrastructure, air-gapped deployment, security, compliance, and procurement.
- Maintain shared visibility into project plans, priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and status.
- Identify risks and unresolved decisions early to help drive them toward resolution.
- Support operational transitions through documentation, handoffs, and ongoing support arrangements.
