Role Overview

The Strategic Finance Manager position at AcuityMD is a generalist finance role based in Boston or available fully remotely within the United States. This opportunity suits an analytical professional with a background in investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth technology companies who wants to directly influence business decisions and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage high-priority business questions covering AI costs and ROI, pricing and packaging, new products, and strategic investments.
Own forecasting, headcount and spend planning, and driver-based financial modeling from a blank page.
Build the next generation of finance infrastructure by improving data connectivity and developing AI-enabled workflows to automate repetitive tasks.
Analyze financial and operational performance, track core KPIs, and translate findings into executive-ready recommendations.
Own procurement processes, vendor evaluations, renewals, negotiations, and spend optimization initiatives.

Requirements

Possess 5 to 7 years of analytical experience across investment banking, management consulting, Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Business Operations, ideally within a high-growth technology company.
Demonstrate strong financial modeling and analytical abilities using Excel or Google Sheets with high attention to accuracy.
Exhibit robust business judgment and the ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear recommendations.
Maintain strong organizational skills to independently manage multiple workstreams and execute tasks from high-level strategy to hands-on work.
Communicate complex analysis clearly to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
Hold an eligible work permit in the United States.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000 per year, determined by location, role scope, complexity, and candidate experience.
