Role Overview

Fanatics Commerce is developing an internal platform to streamline the deployment and management of artificial intelligence tools, and this position owns the common infrastructure known as the Control Plane. Working within a globally distributed team in Hyderabad, the individual in this role bridges engineering, security, and business objectives to ensure reliable and scalable AI operations.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with engineering, security, legal, and business stakeholders to define scalable platform capabilities without relying on formal authority.
Collaborate closely with the AI Platform Adoption and Business Solutions product managers to maintain a continuous feedback loop across the organization.
Define product standards and architectural guardrails for registration, configuration, deployment, and monitoring of AI agents.
Improve the developer experience by reducing friction in configuring, operating, and troubleshooting AI applications through self-service tooling and documentation.
Track metrics related to developer velocity, time to production, platform leverage, and governance consistency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Staff-level or senior product manager overseeing platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling products in ambiguous environments.
Technical fluency in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, security, and platform architecture.
Practical understanding of AI and agentic systems, including agent runtimes, orchestration, tool calling, model gateways, evaluation frameworks, and observability patterns.
Experience designing identity, access control, lifecycle management, and governance capabilities for complex technical platforms.
Systems thinking ability to design for a broader platform ecosystem encompassing agents, models, tools, and security.
