About this role
Maintaining the health and productivity of the largest Earth observation satellite constellation in history requires constant monitoring, anomaly resolution, and software deployment. The Space Operations group builds reliable services and shapes next-generation spacecraft strategies, relying heavily on automation to scale daily fleet management across international locations.
Daily responsibilities include supporting satellite operations, analyzing operational data, triaging on-orbit anomalies, running experiments, and deploying flight software upgrades. Collaboration with cross-functional hardware and software teams is constant to drive improvements in fleet capacity and efficiency.
Candidates who do well here are data-driven self-starters with strong interpersonal skills who thrive in fast-paced technical environments. A solid background in spacecraft operations combined with programming proficiency in Python enables successful candidates to contribute to mission-critical services from day one.
