Yobi is hiring a Software Engineer to design and scale core systems for its real-time machine learning advertising stack remotely across the US and Canada. This full-time position is ideal for experienced systems developers with a background in low-latency infrastructure.

Role Overview

As a core member of the ad platform team, the software engineer will build and operate high-throughput services at the center of the company's behavioral artificial intelligence platform. The professional will handle everything from real-time bidding infrastructure to cloud-native deployments, partnering with data and product units to deliver reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain low-latency, high-throughput services for the real-time advertising stack.
Build zero-to-one systems handling large-scale data and model infrastructure.
Define clear implementation plans and modular service boundaries in ambiguous settings.
Implement robust observability, alerting, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure practices.
Balance strict technical standards with startup pragmatism to ship performant code.

Requirements

Extensive background in building or scaling distributed, high-throughput, and low-latency systems within domains like advertising or recommendations.
Fluency in one or more compiled programming languages.
Strong architectural ownership abilities to design clean interfaces that scale with the team.
High operational maturity with a focus on reproducibility, reliability, and deployment tooling.
