Role Overview

The Senior Systems Administrator acts as the technical owner and primary administrator for critical business platforms, including Google Workspace, the Atlassian suite, and various integration tools. Reporting to the Manager of Core Systems, the selected candidate will spearhead automation efforts, drive security compliance frameworks, and oversee AI-driven IT solutions. This position requires someone capable of bridging technical execution with business strategy to elevate internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the complete lifecycle, user access, and configuration of key SaaS applications.

Architect, design, and maintain scalable system integrations using APIs and middleware platforms like Tray.io.

Streamline and automate onboarding and offboarding workflows to improve security and efficiency.

Oversee identity and access management processes such as SSO, SAML, and SCIM.

Support IT service management (ITSM) functions, including incident, request, and problem management.

Partner with security and audit teams to maintain and automate compliance controls for standards like SOC 2 and SOX.

Lead organizational AI initiatives aimed at automating operational tasks and enhancing support workflows.

Requirements

Four to eight years of professional experience working in IT Engineering, Systems Administration, or related disciplines.

Hands-on background administering SaaS ecosystems and managing user access.

Demonstrated proficiency with API integrations, middleware platforms, and identity management solutions.

Practical experience utilizing Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.

Familiarity with supporting compliance frameworks including SOX and SOC 2.

Demonstrated capability in implementing low-code platforms, scripting, or automated workflows.

Nice to Have

Practical exposure to change management frameworks aligned with ITIL principles.

Prior experience implementing or working directly with AI-driven operational tools.

Skills and Tools

Google Workspace administration and productivity tooling.

Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management).

API integration and middleware platforms like Tray.io.

Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, SAML, and SCIM.
