As a senior software engineer on this team, you will design and operate the backend services that harvest business context from existing systems, manage certification workflows, and serve certified data directly to human users and artificial intelligence agents. You will help shape foundational architecture decisions in a fast-evolving product area while collaborating closely with product management and cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates combine strong product instincts with deep Java expertise and a willingness to move across the stack to deliver user value.
What you will do
- Design, build, and operate backend services that collect and reconcile business context from a variety of existing systems into a governed context studio.
- Build and evolve the certification and versioning workflow that allows teams to trust a single definition of their metrics and data.
- Contribute to the application programming interfaces and model-context-protocol-based integrations that let artificial intelligence agents and business intelligence tools query certified context directly.
- Own reliability and data consistency for services that merge and reconcile information from multiple sources simultaneously.
- Partner directly with product teams to define what gets built and occasionally pick up frontend or tooling work to unblock features.
- Work cross-functional with platform teams, including those building artificial intelligence features, to ship context-aware capabilities.
- Provide considerate and timely reviews of peer pull requests and design proposals.
What you need
- Demonstrate a builder mindset with strong product thinking and a focus on the underlying purpose behind features.
- Possess extensive software development experience utilizing Java along with the versatility to work across the full stack when necessary.
- Bring experience in designing, building, and operating distributed backend services in production environments.
- Show background in designing and operating REST application programming interfaces.
- Have experience modeling and serving graph-structured or richly-relational data.
- Demonstrate experience integrating large language models into backend systems, including structured extraction and prompt-based enrichment.
- Feel comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-evolving problem spaces where the architecture is still being defined.
- Possess hands-on experience using agentic coding tools in production work alongside proper testing and verification guardrails.

What is the remote and office policy for this role?
This role is based in the Warsaw office and follows a hybrid model. There is an expectation of being onsite one to two days per week.
What are the travel expectations for this position?
This role requires twenty-five percent in-person travel. Purposes include new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events.
