Daily responsibilities involve designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications, creating scalable APIs, and building data pipelines in a collaborative cloud-based environment. What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and services to support Tesco Media products.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data specialists to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
- Develop scalable APIs, data pipelines, and platform capabilities that support machine learning and intelligent automation.
- Drive engineering excellence through testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the future direction of AI capabilities across the platform.
What you need
- Bring over five years of experience in developing and delivering production-grade software within a modern cloud-based environment.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and engineering best practices.
- Possess working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative AI concepts and their practical application.
- Communicate effectively and work confidently across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
