About this role
Celonis needs a Senior or Lead AI Deployment Engineer in Paris to solve the operational blind spots of enterprise AI by bridging the gap between raw process data and actionable digital twins. Operating within Celonis Services, this person acts as the delivery backbone for enterprise customers, focusing on high-impact problem solving rather than manual builds. Instead of traditional consulting where everything is coded by hand, this professional uses proprietary AI deployment agents like Apollo to generate data models, process analyses, and operational solutions while providing the human judgment, architecture, and stakeholder management required for long-term customer success. Someone who thrives here combines deep enterprise process expertise with strong AI fluency, knowing how to specify requirements, validate machine-generated outputs, and drive measurable business outcomes.
What you will do
- Conduct business discovery workshops to translate strategic objectives into high-impact Celonis use cases and define project scope with stakeholders.
- Direct AI deployment agents to build data models, process analyses, KPIs, and dashboards by writing precise specifications.
- Build and configure comprehensive Celonis solutions including the Process Intelligence Graph, data transformations, and operational insights.
- Validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, business relevance, and alignment with specific customer contexts.
- Lead value creation workshops, define success measures, and design solutions that drive customer adoption and process conformance.
- Enable key customer users to extend solutions independently, managing project outcomes against strict timelines and expectations.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in specific process domains or industry verticals to create scalable solution patterns and best practices.
What you need
- Bring four to seven plus years of experience in management, IT, data, solution, or process improvement consulting within software vendors, consulting firms, or system integrators.
- Demonstrate platform skills with the ability to build and configure solutions on the Celonis platform, including data modeling and process analysis.
- Show proficiency in PQL, SQL, and Python for technical implementation and data manipulation.
- Possess AI fluency with comfort working alongside AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, or context engineering.
- Display strong understanding or deep expertise in enterprise business processes, financial metrics, and standard ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Maintain strong consulting skills including stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and the ability to deliver outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology Management, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field with fluency in English.
