Role Overview

5bluesoftware is hiring a Senior Full Stack AI-first SaaS Engineer for a remote position based in Ukraine. The role involves building a B2B SaaS platform focused on security, compliance, and AI governance. Candidates will collaborate with a distributed international team across Europe, Israel, and South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deliver full-stack features from conception to production using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Create intuitive frontend experiences and implement backend services, APIs, business logic, and third-party integrations.
Develop and integrate AI-powered product features and participate in system design and architecture decisions.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code in daily workflows while verifying and debugging generated code.
Handle CI/CD and DevOps responsibilities for deployed features and join Agile ceremonies with the international team.

Requirements

Approximately 5+ years of professional software development experience, including Node.js background or a closely related stack.
Roughly 2+ years of professional experience working with React and strong overall TypeScript proficiency.
Experience with API frameworks such as Express or Fastify, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Production experience integrating third-party REST APIs and shipping live AI-powered product features.
Familiarity with DevOps, QA, and CI/CD practices alongside strong spoken English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Background with LangChain, LangGraph, or related agent and AI frameworks.
Experience using Python alongside the primary stack.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Academic background in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Track record serving as a frontend champion within a full-stack team.
