This role suits a technical professional with enterprise software experience who can lead customer deployments and bridge the gap between clients and engineering teams.

Role Overview

Clera seeks a technical lead for customer engagements to join an early-stage enterprise AI infrastructure team. The professional will direct enterprise clients from initial discovery to production deployment and communicate customer needs back to internal product and engineering groups.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct customer discovery sessions to evaluate data architecture, business requirements, and technical limitations.
Plan and execute proofs of value starting from technical validation up to production commitments.
Execute product demonstrations, address technical concerns, and direct architecture conversations with senior leadership.
Build reusable discovery frameworks, demonstration narratives, objection handling strategies, and reference architectures.
Convert customer edge cases into clear feedback for the engineering and product departments.
Collaborate with machine learning and infrastructure units to ensure deployments satisfy customer criteria.
Guide enterprise security evaluations, procurement workflows, and multi-stakeholder purchasing choices.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with 2 to 3 years spent in a hands-on technical or data position.
History of turning technical proofs of value into production commitments within enterprise B2B software.
Familiarity with data warehouses, data governance, enterprise data architecture, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Understanding of production large language model and agentic systems, including their limits and capabilities.
Background in managing technical discovery, demonstrations, and end-to-end proofs of concept with enterprise decision-makers.
Proficiency in Python or SQL for customer prototyping.
Capability to travel frequently to client locations throughout the UK and Europe.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with knowledge graphs, semantic layers, ontologies, or entity resolution.
Background in regulated or air-gapped settings, data or AI infrastructure, or early-stage businesses.
