About this role
Developing advanced analytic solutions and scalable data pipelines forms the core daily work for this position, transforming complex intelligence data into meaningful operational insights. Practitioners build production-ready Python tools, design dashboards, and rapidly prototype capabilities to modernize analytic workflows across the Intelligence Community.
This role exists to support mission-driven analytic and modernization efforts by applying data science techniques to solve complex operational challenges. Individuals who manage multiple concurrent projects independently, communicate technical findings clearly, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams will succeed in this environment.
What you will do
- Develop advanced analytic solutions that translate complex intelligence data into actionable insights for mission stakeholders.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines, automation strategies, and repeatable analytic processes.
- Utilize senior-level Python programming skills to build production-ready tools and automate manual tasks.
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards to communicate analytical findings clearly for operational decision-making.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.
What you need
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence missions through data science, advanced analytics, or intelligence analysis.
- Senior-level proficiency in Python with experience developing production-quality analytic applications and automation solutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing scalable processes for large, complex datasets.
- Experience creating visualizations, dashboards, and data products that support operational decision-making.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, statistical methods, and data-driven problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- Experience with additional programming languages or low-code/no-code platforms such as JEMA, Brewlytics, or ArcGIS ModelBuilder.
- Experience developing enterprise-level dashboards and data visualization solutions using modern business intelligence tools.
- Experience applying machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques to intelligence problems.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
- Experience mentoring junior data scientists or leading technical modernization initiatives.

What is the pay range for this position?
The pay range for this position is $125,000 to $150,000. Compensation is influenced by factors such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
What security clearance is required?
An active TS/SCI clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a CI Poly preferred. Candidates must also have familiarity with common Intelligence Community data repositories.
